「香」，代表心香一瓣，供養十方，與大家結緣；「光」，表示佛光普照，給人溫暖、給人光明。所以建造這座亭子的用意，是希望每個人來到這裡，都能感受到佛光人帶給人的心香一瓣和溫暖光明。

香 “Fragrant” symbolizes offers incense wholeheartedly to the ten directions, while 光 “Light” represents the Buddha’s light shine universally, spreading warmth and brightness. It is our hope that all who come here may feel the fragrance of heartfelt offerings and the warmth and light shared by the Fo Guang community.

* 心香一瓣 are used metaphorically to indicate that one constantly holds sincere reverence for someone in one's mind, with a reverent and solemn mind comparable to burning incense and worshiping the Buddha. (FGDB)
