佛光普照大地，種瓜得瓜，種豆得豆，因果定真理；
法輪常轉人間，善有善報，惡有惡報，岸頭有神明。

Temple Couplets - Yuantong Temple, Kunming
English translation: Miao Guang and Sasha Lyapina

The Buddha's light illuminates the great earth,
As you sow so shall you reap,
It is the essence of cause and effect.
The Dharma Wheel in constant shift in the human realm,
The virtuous has virtuous reward,
The evil results in evil,
The shore of the ocean of suffering has the charity of gods.
