蘇東坡禪詩 ─ 夜來偈
宋 蘇軾 ( 1036~1101 )

溪聲盡是廣長舌,
山色無非清淨身;
夜來八萬四千偈,
他日如何舉似人?

Chan Poems of Su Dongpo - Verse of Nightfall
Su Shi (1036 - 1101, Song Dynasty)
English translation: Pey-Rong Lee and Dana Dunlap

The babbling creeks are the broad, long tongue;
The scenic mountains are nothing but the pure body.
Nightfall brings eighty-four thousand gathas,
In days ahead, how to present them to others?

── from Dongpo Shiji (Collected Poems of Su Shi)
