自我肯定
佛光星雲 ( 1927~ )

自己就是自己，即使在這世界上有好幾億人口，你還
是你自己。遺憾的是一般人因為不能自我肯定，不能掌
握自己的前途。

「心」是我們的主人；世間上的好壞，皆以心為出發
點，心生則萬法生，心滅則萬法滅。心外的世界如何改
變，我們無法控制，但只要自己心中能夠自我肯定，就
可以做自己的主人。

人若能肯定自己，不被名位權勢、五欲六塵的境界牽
著鼻子走；心能安住，則任憑天崩地裂，又豈奈我何？

Self-Affirmation
Venerable Master Hsing Yun (1927 - )

You are yourself. Even though there are millions of people
in this world, you are still who you are. Sadly, most people are
unable to affirm themselves and are incapable of mastering
their own futures.

The mind is our master; everything in this world, whether
good or bad, all arise from the mind. When the mind arises,
all dharmas arise. When the mind ceases, all dharmas cease.
While we are unable to control the changes in the outside
world, if we are able to affirm ourselves, we can become our
own masters.

If we are able to affirm ourselves, we will not be led astray
by fame, power, desire, and delusions; even if the world turned
upside down, we will still be at ease when our minds are at peace.
