棄我去者，昨日之日不可留；
亂我心者，今日之日多煩憂。
抽刀斷水水更流，舉杯銷愁愁更愁；
人生在世不稱意，明朝散髮弄扁舟。

The one who abandoned me:
    yesterday, who cannot be kept.
The one who distressed me:
    today, who gives me much to fret.
Holding up a blade to cut water,
    but the water still flows,
Raising a glass to drown sorrows,
    but sorrows still remain as sorrows.
Since life in this world is dissatisfactory,
    tomorrow morning I shall loosen my hair
    and be liberated by a small boat.
