孝心培福慧
佛光星雲 ( 1927~ )

中華文化主張三綱五常，主要在孝道的闡明。
孝，是親人之間至真感情的流露；
孝，是人我之間應有的一份責任；
孝，是人倫之間的一種密切關係。
擴而充之，對兄弟的孝就是悌，對朋友的孝就是
義，對國家的孝就是忠，乃至對眾生的孝就是仁。
要重整倫理道德，應從發揚孝道精神做起。

A Respectful Mind to Cultivate Prosperity and Wisdom
Venerable Master Hsing Yun (1927- , Fo Guang Shan)

In Chinese culture, the well-known teachings of the “Three
Principles and Five Virtues” are mainly to elucidate what
filial piety means:

    Filial piety is the most genuine expression of family bond;
    Filial piety is a due responsibility of the self to others;
    Filial piety is an intimacy between people.

Moreover, filial piety towards brothers is fraternal love; filial
piety towards friends is righteousness; filial piety towards
all living beings is benevolence. The way to reinstate moral
ethics is to begin by advocating the spirit of filial piety.
