苦貪名利日憂煎；
豈知住世金銀寶，
借汝閒看幾十年。

Not establishing virtuous and wholesome deeds;
    insatiable pursuits after wealth and fame
    bring only covetousness and sufferings.

Are we not aware that the worldly treasures
    of gold and silver are
    provisional for only a few decades?
