念佛無非念自心，自心是佛莫他尋；
眼前林樹並池沼，晝夜還能演法音。
Mindfulness of the Buddha is Mindfulness of the Heart
Dai’an Puzhuang (1347 - 1403, Ming Dynasty)
English translation: Zhi Yue
Mindfulness of the Buddha is mindfulness of the heart,
One’s heart is a buddha, so seek nowhere else,
The trees and lakes before one’s eyes
Can voice even the Dharma day and night.
