懺悔偈
宋 雪峰蘊聞 錄 ( 生卒年不詳 )

罪從心起將心懺，
心若滅時罪亦亡；
心亡罪滅兩俱空，
是則名為真懺悔。

Verse of Repentance
Xuefeng Yunwen (Years unknown, Song Dynasty)
English translation: Miao Guang

Transgression arises from the mind,
Thus repentance should also begin from there;
Upon extinguishment of the mind,
Transgressions will also cease.
When both extinguishment and cessation are empty,
Repentance is thus in its truest form.
