德高之人如雷貫耳
立功之人如日中天
行善之人如種福田
懺悔之人如釋重負
放下之人如出牢籠
法喜之人如沐春風
慈悲之人如佛在心
問道之人如饑似渴
信佛之人如入寶山
頓悟之人如獲至寶
聞法之人如飲醍醐
證道之人如人飲水
禪定之人如如不動

Generous people are like sowers of seeds.
People who speak good words are like fragrant flowers in the air.
Open-minded people are like water that leaves no traces.
Enduring people are like iron pillars.
Observant people are like dreams awakened.
Warm-hearted people are like the winter sun.
Highly virtuous names are like loud thunder.
Meritorious people are like the sun at high noon.
Authors of kind deeds are like fields of merits being cultivated.
People who repent are as if heavy burdens are laid down.
People who let go are like those freed from a cage.
People with the joy of Dharma are as if bathing in the spring breeze.
Compassionate people are like buddhas in the heart.
Queriers of the Way are like an extreme hunger for the Truth.
Believers of the Buddha are like discovery of the mountain of treasures.
Promptly enlightened people are as if they have gained treasure.
Listeners of the Dharma are as if they have been given refined nectar.
Attainers of the Way are like water which only they know the taste.
Meditation practitioners are like unmoving stillness.
