佛光山今年以開山宗長星雲大師的新春賀辭「龍天護佑」，祈願諸佛菩薩暨龍天護法，護佑人人平安吉祥、圓滿如意，俾使人心如佛心，世界如佛國，戰爭遠離，和平永在，災難止息，萬世太平。

This year Fo Guang Shan uses the New Year calligraphy composed by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, Founder of Fo Guang Shan, Heavenly Blessings & Protection, as the theme in the hope that all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and heavenly Dharma protectors bless everyone to be peaceful and fortunate to have their wishes fulfilled and that everyone cultivates their Buddha mind to make the world a Buddha Land where there is always peace without any catastrophe.
