To the Attendant
Hanshan Deqing (1546 - 1623, Ming Dynasty)
English translation: Miao Guang
Relinquishing one’s body and mind to see the Dharma King,
Seek not answers of the future in one’s attitude and bearing;
To realize one’s intrinsic nature is all that is needed,
Then even grass, trees, and forests will shine.
