山居偶成四首(其二)
明 憨山德清大師(1546~1623)

Four Random Works in Reclusion (2)
Hanshan Deqing (1546 - 1623, Ming Dynasty)
English translation: Miao Guang
In the never-ending turmoil of the chaotic world,
I, without reason, am faraway from where I belong;
Looking back to the mountain which I call home,
Streaks of twilight, empty clouds are what my eyes own.
── from Hanshan Laoren Mengyou Ji (Collection of Old Man Hanshan’s Dream Travels)
