切忌從它覓，迢迢與我疏；
我今獨自往，處處得逢渠。
渠今正是我，我卻不是渠；
恁須這麼會，方得契如如。

Never Seek from Another
Dongshan Liangjie (807 - 869, Tang Dynasty)

Never seek from the without,
The self will only be further distanced;
As I set out on my own,
I encounter channels everywhere.
The channel now becomes me,
Yet I am not the channel;
Such the way I must understand it all,
In order to accord with the Thusness.
