Long Spring Days Only Grasped
After Lengthy Sitting
Gaozong Zhaogou (1107 - 1187, Southern Song Dynasty)

Long spring days only grasped after lengthy sitting.
In tranquility is the mind naturally calmed and cooled.
Of perfect enlightenment, when was it ever thus?
Hectic days of a mundane life is but all one sees.
