Description:
十喻詩
姚秦‧鳩摩羅什大師(344~413,一說350~409)
十喻以喻空,空必待此喻;
借言以會意,意盡無會處。
既得出長羅,住此無所住;
若能映斯照,萬象無來去。
Ten Metaphors of Emptiness
Kumarajiva (344 - 413, Eastern Jin Dynasty)
Ten metaphors are listed to describe emptiness,
Emptiness must thus be based on these metaphors;
Language is borrowed to ensure comprehension of meanings,
Once meaning is penetrated, nothing else is left to grasp.
Having now exited this extended net,
Abide in this non-abiding;
Shall one reflect accordingly,
Arising and ceasing is no more.
