花開滿樹紅
唐 龍牙居遁 ( 835~923 )

朝看花開滿樹紅，暮看花落樹還空；
若將花比人間事，花與人間事一同。

Tree Filled with Red Flower Blossoms
Longya Judun (835 - 923, Tang Dynasty)
English translation: Zhi Yue

In the morning, one sees a tree
    full of red flower blossoms;

In the evening, one finds fallen flowers,
    and a once again empty tree.

If one compares these flowers to worldly affairs,
    then they and the world are one and the same.
