一切快樂,沒有比祥和更為快樂;
一個人心量有多大,事業就有多大;
最好的談判,是從對方的利益著手;
失敗者,往往是熱度只有五分鐘的人;
最沒出息的人,是犧牲別人,利益自己;

Magnanimous Mind
Venerable Master Hsing Yun (1927 - , Fo Guang Shan)
English translation, Miao Guang, Zhi Yue, Tom Manzo, and Shujan Cheng
There is no greater happiness
than auspiciousness and peace.
There is no greater enjoyment
than tranquility and serenity.
The capacity of a person’s heart
determines the grandness of his success.
The magnanimity of a person’s heart
determines the level of his accomplishments.
The best way to negotiate
is to think of the benefit of the other party;
The best way to develop affinity
is to help others succeed.
People fail because they have
Only five minutes of enthusiasm.
People succeed because they persevere
Even through the last five minutes.*
The least promising people are those
who sacrifice others for their own benefit.
The most promising people are those
who sacrifice themselves for the benefit of others.
Form good affinities by cooperating with others.
Show your passion by your performance at work.
Take joy in giving by living frugally.
Create your future by working diligently.
