大磬由維那主之,凡住持或尊宿、仕宦於大殿禮佛時,皆鳴三下。
The big gong is used by the disciplinary master.
When the abbot, elders, or officials come to the main shrine for paying homage to the Buddha,
the gong is sounded thrice.
