人身難得今已得，佛法難聞今已聞，此身不向今生度，更向何生度此身？
Hard it is to obtain a human body, but now I have obtained one;
Hard it is to hear the Buddha’s teachings, but now I have heard them.
If I do not liberate myself in this lifetime,
Then in which lifetime will I ever do so?
